VISTEVA LAUNCHES TRI-LINGUAL STATE SENATE WEBSITE
Website in English, Spanish, and Vietnamese launched for State Senate
candidate in ethnically diverse district
Westminster, CA — Visteva launched a website (www.LynnDaucher.com)
developed in three different languages for California State Senate candidate
Lynn Daucher. Daucher is a candidate in the 34th State Senate District,
one of the most diverse in the state.
Daucher’s campaign is the number one targeted race in the state.
Due to term limits, the district which is currently represented by a Democrat,
Senator Joe Dunn, will be an open seat. The district is virtually 50/50
in registration and is the only opportunity Republicans have to gain a
seat in the State Legislature.
The tri-lingual website is necessary because the district is roughly
1/3 white, 1/3 Hispanic, and 1/3 Vietnamese. Voters in each of these demographic
groups are important segments of the voting population and will be important
votes on Election Day.
Visteva was responsible for translations in both Vietnamese and Spanish
as well as ensuring the languages displayed properly on viewers computers.
“Working with the different characters in each language was a challenge,”
said Chad Morgan, President of Visteva. “This was an important project
because these populations are important to Daucher’s campaign,”
Morgan continued. “We were happy to accept the challenge.
Lynn Daucher’s campaign is also utilizing other Visteva services
to process online credit card contributions, maintain website content,
and communicate using broadcast email.
Visteva is the developer of Visteva eCampaign, an online campaign management
tool; Visteva eDonations, a tool for accepting online credit card contributions;
and Visteva EasyWeb, a content management tool to maintain websites without
hiring a web developer.
